The Druthua

This is the final version of the ninth and last image contracted by Neoplastic Press for the RPG Dread. This one was a pain-in-the-ass from the concept stage onwards, and I'm still not sure I like it much. If I'd had more time, I would have dropped a nice background in: a bone-littered cavern of some sort.

The series is mainly quarter-sized illustrations of different types of demons: this illustrates the druthua, a headless demon with cloven hooves and four crushing arms that uses the ghosts of its past victims to lure more victims.
